Since 2015 this elegant Mercedes-Benz has benefitted from expenditure of nearly £14,000, mostly focussing on the underside and engine, which have both been treated to many new parts and recommissioning jobs. The bulk of the work was carried out in 2016, nearly £8,000 was spent, the engine had almost a whole rebuild and many bushes and seals underneath the car were replaced, less than 2,000 miles have been covered since. More recently, in July 2020, a new camshaft and rockers were fitted, along with some other service items, the bill coming to nearly £3,000. In June 2024, the car underwent a thorough service following a period of time in storage, new front brake discs and pads were fitted, along with engine oil and brake fluid being changed. A few areas of paintwork have also recently been carried out, just to tidy up the appearance of the car and it now presents very well. Supplied to auction with a comprehensive history file with evidence of regular servicing throughout the years and bills for works carried out on the car going back to day one.
