1968 | Mercedes-Benz 250 SL
Description
The Mercedes 250SL Pagoda was produced from 1967 till 1968, the total 250SL's built was 5196. The W113's clean, elegant straight lines typify the work of its lead designer, the legendary Paul Bracq.
This example was in the same Belgian hands for 20 years. The car has been subject of a correct restoration project, offering the car enough renovation to ensure you trouble-free driving pleasure with a remaining patina and authenticity.
During its restoration process the original engine was upgraded to the more powerful 280SL engine developing 170 HP instead of the original 150 HP from the 250 SL engine. The 4-speed automatic gearbox works well and smoothly and, cherry on top...an electronic powersteering making from this old lady an easy driving powerful and comfortable classic car.
For those still searching a perfect driver's, classic rally car, this could be the one!
