Mercedes-Benz 280 SE (W108), rust-free, no welding work, original two-tone, Matching Numbers, history
280 SE (W108) with **original **two-tone paint from the factory (UT 467 sand beige metallic, OT 040 black) with black leather interior (Code 241). According to issue No. 70 of the magazine "Mercedes-Benz Classic" from January 2025, in which the car is mentioned (page 86), in 1971 only 1% of all new Mercedes cars were delivered in two-tone paint. First registration on 23.04.1971 in Cannes (Southern France), therefore the car has never seen snow or road salt! No rust, no welding work! No accidents - all body lines as from the factory! The original leather is soft and shows only minimal signs of use, all chrome parts as well as the wooden parts are in beautiful condition. Anyone familiar with the W108/109 series knows how rare such an overall condition is!
All engine components of the car have "matching numbers" according to the data card. Complete onboard folder, almost fully documented service booklet with 26 (!) service stamps - accordingly, the car currently has just under 150,000 km original mileage. The car has been COMPREHENSIVELY invested in over the past years, including the following maintenance and repair work documented with invoices (total investments of nearly 20,000 euros since 2014):

All documents regarding invoices and the history are clearly compiled in a folder and will, of course, be given to the buyer. Premium MICHELIN MXV-P tires (with rubbing strip) in the correct dimension 185 HR 14 are installed. The car has the following equipment: power steering and manual transmission (center shift), tinted glass (front windshield band filter), front center armrests and headrests, Becker Europa radio with automatic HIRSCHMANN antenna. The original onboard tools as well as the centering mandrel (special request) are also available.
