Jaguar Mk II 3.4 Liter from 1960.

This is one of the first Mk2s introduced in the Netherlands. The first registration was in January 1960. Production of the Mk2, as the successor to the Jaguar Mk1, began in 1959.

This car appeared at various car shows, partly because a metal sunroof had been installed by the Dutch company Hollandia.

This Mk2 even has a chassis number that resembles the serial number of the Mk1 models.

This classic 4-door limousine is equipped with the powerful 3.4-liter 6-cylinder engine.

This engine performs exceptionally well (210 hp) and is coupled to a 4-speed gearbox with a Laycock Overdrive. This made the Jaguar Mk2 a very sporty and elegant saloon.

All the features of a luxury and sporty touring car are present. A luxurious and spacious interior with leather and a burr walnut veneered wooden dashboard.

The chrome on the exterior of the bodywork is also striking, especially the wide bumpers.

The chrome wire wheels are also noticeable, certainly due to the narrower Coombs fender flares.

The two LUCAS FogRanger fog lights next to the grille make it more than complete.

This Jaguar Mk2 was restored years ago, but the signs of aging are now visible again. The leather on the front seats is due for renewal. The exterior paintwork also needs some attention.

Technically, the car has always been well maintained and has been driven very regularly.

This Mk2 therefore drives very well, partly due to the presence of power steering and power brakes.

Shifting with the classic (Moss) gearbox requires the right feel for mechanics.

The 2 SU carburetors and the automatic choke function very well.

This is an attractive Jaguar Mk2 with a special history.
