Description

Words are poor when trying to describe how this Ford V8 Gläser presents itself. It is quite clear that it was built for the better citizens, or high-ranking militia. Terms such as majestic, grandiose, princely and distinctively beautiful are not entirely beside the point. You are captivated by large curved screens, from a time when you didn't think about safety, repair costs or budget. It had to be luxury and have a wow factor, and it has a good enough wow factor. If you haven't stood next to a pre-war car from America before, then you will almost certainly be stunned by its looks and execution. The dimensions and details are simply fascinating. The details are many, from the towering chrome grill that compliments the huge headlights, to the integrated running boards, and down to the finest rear lights on stalks. The iconic V8 emblem adorns a spare wheel cover, as well as the elegant wheel covers. The suicide doors invite you into a renovated burgundy living room, with soft leather seats you sink into, porcelain-clad handles and buttons, leather-bound straps, polished steel, and analog clocks. The latter is of course written in German. The car has been thoroughly renovated, and we dare say that it presents itself as one of the absolute best-looking Gläser-built Fords in all of Europe. Welcome to Classic Car House.
