Immaculately and professionally built 1976 Ford Escort RS2000 Rally with a powerful Zetec ST-170 engine (175 hp). Fully restored and rebuilt in 2019 using high-quality materials. Since the restoration, the car has only covered 750 kilometers and is in excellent condition.
Exterior:
Finished in Ermine White and fitted with a Group A bodykit including a lightweight hood and trunk lid. The car rides on classic Minilite wheels that emphasize its authentic rally character. The adjustable suspension ensures optimal handling and adaptability for various driving conditions. The chassis was thoroughly overhauled during the restoration, providing a solid foundation and precise driving dynamics.
Interior:
Equipped with a FIA-approved roll cage, QSP bucket seats, and QSP 6-point harnesses. Additionally, the car features a short shifter for a direct and sporty shifting experience. A Wilwood hydraulic handbrake provides extra control for drifting and rally use. The interior is fully focused on functionality, safety, and performance, perfectly matching the car’s pure rally character.
Technical:
Powered by the Zetec ST-170 engine with 175 hp, paired with a T9 manual gearbox. The engine is fitted with a spaghetti-style exhaust manifold for optimal gas flow and improved performance. Wilwood brakes all around provide excellent stopping power and control. The combination of engine, gearbox, adjustable suspension, and high-quality brakes makes this Escort perfectly suited for sporty and competitive use.
History:
Fully restored and professionally built in 2019 using only high-quality materials. A comprehensive file with all invoices from the restoration is included, highlighting the care and quality of the build. Since completion, the car has only been driven 750 kilometers. The Ford comes with a Dutch registration.
