This particular example is especially significant as one of the final carburettor 308 GTS models produced before the introduction of the fuel injected models, which until the Quattrovalvole, were sadly devoid of power making the early carburettor cars a standard for the purist

Making this version one of the last of the more evocative and characterful early carburetted cars.

Originally supplied new to Italy, this 308 remains true to its origins and comes with Italian classic car validation. It was subsequently acquired from Italy and is today offered with either EU registration or UK registration, buyer choice!

Importantly, the car benefits from Ferrari Classiche certification, adding another important layer of reassurance and collectability. It also retains a number of desirable factory details, including TRX tyres and factory air conditioning, both increasingly sought-after features on an early 308.

At the time of purchase, the car had just undergone substantial restorative works, including new paint, a new leather interior, new carpets, and a rebuilt engine and gearbox. The result is a car that presents extremely well, with the added benefit of major expenditure already having been undertaken.

In fact the last owner, a long term customer of ours, has used the Ferrari rather just admiring her in his motor house!

Having the drive train rebuilt has obviously helped here, and when collecting her from Gloucestershire it has to be said, she is one of the most accelerative we've had the pleasure of running through her gears
