The Chevrolet Suburban is one of America's longest-running automotive nameplates, with a history stretching back to 1935. Evolving through successive generations, it has become synonymous with the full-size American SUV, combining generous accommodation and load space with substantial towing ability. The 2015-onwards eleventh-generation Suburban retained the traditional formula, powered by Chevrolet's 5.3 litre EcoTec3 V8, with direct injection, cylinder deactivation and FlexFuel capability. Producing around 355bhp, the V8 was paired with a six-speed automatic transmission, while the Premier specification represented the upper end of the range, offering a comprehensive level of equipment and a more luxurious interior.
