1977 Bentley T2
One of the very first of these very rare late seventies Bentley's (1.4% of production at that time)
Finished in the every so low key, Exeter blue with dark blue hide to the interior, and fitted with both an electric sunroof (almost unheard of) and the often sought front seat head rests (the rear seat rests were standard - it was considered by the factory that most cars would be chauffeur driven)
The electric windows, central locking, power steering, GM 400 automatic gearbox, radio plus cassette or 8-track (the choice of the new owner) plus electric aerial, together with the awesome bi-level air conditioning system were all standard equipment - which did make sense, as the new T2 series cost £20.000 when first delivered in May 1977 - just for perspective a new Jaguar XJ12L was 'only' £11.755
This superior example has only travelled 96.250 miles in 49 years, and comes with a complete service history, the original service book, instruction manual, build sheets from the factory, a thick folder of invoices over the years, both small and large tools
Still with the original LambsWool over rugs - amazingly - and even the ignition switch is unmarked (usually damaged by the ignition key missing the spot)
Recent work includes re-gasing of the air conditioning, a new alternator & belt, oils and filters plus new spark plugs, so she whisks along smoothly and silently - as you would hope
The last owner is a very good friend of mine, and is a very famous figure in the automotive world too
A true icon of the period and a Bentley T2 which we would recommend
