To the well-known history!

The MB 170 Sb was imported into Denmark on July 2, 1954, see the attached customs documents.

The 170 Sb ran in Denmark until 1990 and was then shut down and mothballed.

In 2010, the 170 Sb was imported to Germany and restored on behalf of a well-known vintage car dealership in Hamburg, or rather the company spoke of a revision, i.e. the vehicle was in such good original condition that no restoration in the sense of the word was necessary was. Nevertheless, the vehicle was completely disassembled and reassembled for the overhaul. This is the usual procedure for frame vehicles.

A vehicle in true original body condition - of course the vehicle was completely repainted. The paint is still in first-class condition to this day. The two-tone paintwork was already a rarity at the time of delivery.

The interior has been completely renovated. The roof lining, including the pillar cladding, shows the first-class quality of the work. One is inclined to use the attribute “better than new”.

The 170 Sb was purchased in 2014 by a collector from Hainfeld. This collector actively drove the 170 Sb from 2014 to 2022 and has covered approximately 20,000 kilometers on his own.

The 170 Sb performed its service without any problems, the brakes had to be replaced at the front and rear. That's it. Of course, the oil change intervals and other maintenance work were scrupulously adhered to.

You acquire a piece of contemporary history in functional “packaging”.

The Mercedes-Benz 170 Sb replaced the 170 S model in 1952. The internal designation was now W 191.

Only 8.080 units built of this vehicle were manufactured until August 1953. This limousine is correspondingly rare to find today.
