A fully restored 1960 Steyr-Puch 500D! In beautiful condition and restored to original specification!
Exterior:
The exterior of the Steyr-Puch is finished in the lovely color Mint Green. It features original steel wheels in cream white, matching the roof. The car is further equipped with chrome bumpers, door handles, and trim. The body resembles that of the Fiat 500, as from 1957 Steyr-Puch built the 500D under Fiat license. This is recognizable by the iconic suicide doors and the removable plastic roof.
Interior:
The interior is in excellent condition, restored completely to original spec in beige. It features a speedometer, turn signal switch, and wiper switch. The interior is in great shape!
Mechanics:
The mechanicals of the Steyr-Puch 500D have been very well maintained. The 493cc 2-cylinder engine produces 16 hp, runs perfectly, and has been properly maintained. The gearbox shifts smoothly, and the car drives, steers, and brakes well!
History:
Originally delivered in Vienna, Austria, on May 6, 1960, to Dr. Konrad Burg. In 1989, the car changed hands and entered a private collection, where it underwent a full restoration. The restoration lasted over 5 years and cost more than €20,000. It was carried out by an Italian specialist between 2015 and 2020. The original engine is still present!
