Very nice MGA with a tough ‘Le Mans’ look.
Mechanically in excellent condition, with a 1600 cc engine equipped with a Weber type 40 DCOM carburettor and a free-flow exhaust. This gives it a sporty sound that suits the appearance of the car. An electric fan has been added to keep the engine at temperature under all conditions. The four-speed gearbox works well. The car is equipped with disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear.
The bodywork is in very good condition, as is the chassis. There is no rust. The paintwork is in very good condition. Several modifications have been made to give the car a sportier appearance, such as the windscreen, which has been removed to make way for two small aeroscreens. The grille has been modified to accommodate an auxiliary driving light and the bumpers have been removed. A ‘race’ fuel cap, bonnet straps, etc. all contribute to the look.
