A very beautiful and fully restored Mercedes‑Benz 170S A Cabriolet from 1952! Complete documentation available, from invoices to photos and valuation reports!
Exterior:
The exterior of this Mercedes‑Benz is finished in the original Schwarz. It rides on original steel wheels with hubcaps and is fitted with whitewall tires. All chrome trim is in excellent condition, as is the elegant black soft‑top. The car has been professionally restored in the Netherlands.
Interior:
The interior is trimmed in red leather with red carpeting. In line with the exterior, the interior has been fully restored to its original condition. It is equipped with its original radio (non‑functioning), a full wood dashboard, and a fold‑down rear seat.
Mechanics:
This Mercedes‑Benz 170S A Cabriolet is powered by its original matching‑numbers inline‑4 engine producing 52 hp. The car drives perfectly and the gearbox shifts smoothly. All mechanical components were overhauled during the restoration and have been well maintained ever since.
History:
The Mercedes‑Benz 170S A Cabriolet was delivered new in 1952 and imported to the Netherlands in 1960. It has been in the hands of its most recent owner since 1990, who commissioned the complete restoration. A large file with invoices, photos, and valuation reports is available. Post-restoration, the car has occasionally participated in tour drives and has been part of a large Mercedes‑Benz collection. The last owner kept the car for 33 years!
