Introduced in 2001, the third-generation Range Rover represented a significant evolution of the marque's celebrated luxury off-roader. Known internally as the L322, its combination of imposing styling, exceptional refinement and genuine cross-country ability established a template that many subsequent luxury SUVs would attempt to emulate. The arrival of the 3.6 litre twin-turbocharged TDV8 further enhanced the model's appeal. Producing considerable torque, it delivered effortless performance through a smooth six-speed automatic transmission. Permanent four-wheel drive, adjustable air suspension and Land Rover's Terrain Response system ensured that the Range Rover remained exceptionally capable away from the road, while its quiet and beautifully appointed cabin made it equally accomplished as a long-distance luxury car.
The Autobiography represented the pinnacle of the L322 range, combining commanding road presence with an especially luxurious and comprehensively equipped interior. This 2009 example is particularly notable for its exceptionally modest recorded mileage of 25,838 miles. Owned from new by a hedge fund manager and taken on by our vendor in 2020, it has evidently been maintained without compromise and presents in outstanding condition throughout.
Its already generous specification is complemented by several desirable options and enhancements. These include electrically deployable side steps, privacy glass, Supercharged-style body-coloured side vents and grille, upgraded alloy wheels and protective lamp guards. Rear-seat passengers are especially well catered for, with a retrofitted PlayStation providing additional entertainment during longer family journeys. The car is also offered complete with its distinctive private registration, 'C1 PEF'.
The accompanying service history records regular servicing by Jaguar Land Rover until 2020, followed by annual maintenance entrusted to Independent Jaguar Land Rover SMS Automotive. Its most recent service was completed on 10th March 2026, while the MoT test certificate remains valid until January 2027. This consistent attention is reflected in the vehicle's exceptional presentation and evident standard of care.
