A very rare 'F' chassis series which has been lovingly restored by our friends at Famous Four and with only 4.000 miles since
There is a photographic record of the works, as well as the invoices - which total well into the late forty thousands
In the history folder there is also a copy of the period Range Rover brochure, Haynes manual and instruction booklet
The Heritage certificate confirms the original colour as Sahara Dust, of which we fully approve
Originally destined for Export in LHD she was purchased in the 2010's by a chap, who decided to have her rebuilt to 'as new' specification, plus some updates (see below)
The history starts at 2013, when presumably she was repatriated back to Blightly - from where we don't know
The interior has been beautifully re-trimmed in tan vinyl with appropriate Grant Tartan, supplied from Lochcarron of Scotland - and doesn't it look wonderful too!! (it's a heavy weight tartan too, so should be very hard wearing) Carpets are similarly of top quality and are fitted throughout
Correct tools are hidden in the rear compartment, whilst during the restoration the earlier bonnet mirrors have been fitted as well a full flow exhaust manifold were added to help spin up the engine
In fact the whole of the exhaust system is fully stainless steel - so no maintenance for the future !!
Sundym glass helps not only with UV protection, but makes the car look prettier (if you can say this about a Range Rover.........???)
Most importantly, well from our perspective, if the fitment of the Fairey Over Drive system - giving around 500rpm reduction whilst you are bounding along an A or B road, or simply running up the motorway
It gives you a quieter and easier cruising speed for long journey's
Overall a super example, in more than superb condition and well worth a trip to visit her
