Designed by Ian Callum, the X150 combines the elegance of a classic British grand tourer with one of the most characterful Jaguar powertrains of its era. My XKR was first registered in December 2008 and has been in my possession since September 2020.
Since then, I have not simply driven it, but consistently cared for it, had it professionally serviced and maintained in sound technical condition. It was particularly important to me not only to carry out regular servicing, but also to address age- and model-specific X150 issues consistently as they arose – and from my perspective, that is precisely what sets this vehicle apart from many other offerings.
SERVICE, MAINTENANCE & MOT
The history has been extensively documented since I took ownership in September 2020. Servicing was carried out by the Jaguar authorised dealer and by Grossmann Autoservice Stuttgart, a specialist in classic Jaguar vehicles.

CONDITION & CARE
I used the XKR exclusively as a seasonal vehicle from March to October and treated it with corresponding care.
Before the sale, the vehicle received another extensive professional detailing: paint decontamination and a 1.5-stage polish with finishing, intensive leather and interior detailing, as well as dry-ice cleaning of the engine bay. Existing kerb damage on three alloy wheels was also professionally repaired.
The front bumper was repainted due to age-related stone chips.
The XKR therefore presents in an exceptionally well-maintained condition for its age and mileage, both inside and out.
AN XKR FOR THE ENTHUSIAST
Throughout my entire period of ownership, it was important to me not to postpone necessary work, but to continuously maintain the vehicle both technically and cosmetically. Accordingly, the available documentation, including invoices and service records, is extensive.
The XKR is not being sold because maintenance or repairs are pending. Rather, it should go to a new owner who will appreciate the special combination of a 4.2-litre supercharged V8, classic Jaguar elegance and open-top grand touring just as much.
