The XK150 you see here 'ticks all the boxes,' in other words: from A to Z this Jaguar is fantastic. The XK comes with a massive stack of invoices from renowned brand specialists, and they clearly show one thing: for many decades, this Jaguar has been receiving the love it rightly deserves. Not only are there 'major' invoices for engine overhauls, but the restoration was also carried out very thoroughly. It ensures that the XK looks more than well-cared-for. The restoration can also be seen in the photo albums that accompany the car. Its magnificent bodywork is the result of the restoration, with an equally beautifully renewed interior and an engine compartment that, figuratively speaking, you could eat off of.
Starting with the body: it impresses with very straight bodywork and very nice paint. The intense navy blue bodywork has tight seams, excellent lines, and features such as doors, front, and rear hatches close beautifully. The abundant chrome is just as beautifully dressed and thoroughly deserves the description 'in concours condition.' Very nice wire wheels complete the exterior celebration.
The XK's interior is beautiful. The seats, covered with very high-quality and supple leather, are in excellent condition. Leather is usually at its most beautiful when it has been slightly used, as is the case here. The rest of the interior looks practically new, with a dashboard featuring beautiful aluminum panels and partial leather upholstery, as well as stylish Smiths instruments. The controls are all in very good condition and fully functional. The beautiful, large four-spoke steering wheel and the gear lever for operating the rare five-speed gearbox invite you to enjoy long rides.
The 3.8-liter inline-six has not only been completely overhauled but also very well maintained, exclusively by brand specialists with a passion for this type of car. Thanks to that maintenance, which, of course, went far beyond just the engine, the XK150 drives truly perfectly. Every classic car feels different, and even every car of the same model drives differently. Our engine sounds and runs beautifully, allowing all the power to be readily harnessed, and the power plant responds energetically to commands given via the throttle pedal. However, enjoyable driving goes beyond just the engine, and fortunately, we can add that the suspension is also in excellent condition. The XK150 still gives the driver the feeling of being in a real sports car on the road. Good brakes make it possible to bring the pace down quickly as well.
On the bridge, the car also looks very good, with a beautiful underside free of rust, deposits, or other unwanted elements. Truly a car that, as mentioned earlier, is in impeccable condition from A to Z.
