This car was originally sold new in the USA in December 1958 and came to Europe a few years ago. A Frenchman bought it at the time and imported it to France, where it underwent a complete restoration. This restoration was carried out to very high standards, while several modifications were also made. The car was originally supplied to a dealer in New York in cream with a biscuit-coloured interior, but the Frenchman had the car repainted in a period-correct red colour.
