The car underwent a meticulous restoration approximately four years ago and has since been sympathetically enhanced without losing the character that makes the XK140 so special.
For those looking to actually enjoy their Jaguar rather than simply admire it, the car benefits from a 5-speed Toyota Supra gearbox professionally installed by Realm Engineering, providing a more relaxed and practical driving experience. For the purist, the original Moss gearbox is also included.
Stopping power has been improved with a front disc brake conversion using premium SNG Barratt components, adding an important element of modern usability while retaining the car's classic character.
Under the bonnet is a fully rebuilt engine to desirable SE specification, expertly prepared by Sigma Engineering. The engine has covered just 2,000 miles since its rebuild, offering confidence for its next custodian.
Further thoughtful upgrades include a discreetly fitted 5-inch electric cooling fan, particularly useful when navigating modern traffic, together with conveniently accessible auxiliary battery terminals for straightforward charging.
