This Jaguar XK 120 OTS is an early car with steelbody.
With chassis number 263 (LHD) . Manufactured in 05.may 1950
The owner in Los Angeles was Cleg Celvin Barnfather.
From 1990 on this car was in my collection.
The Jaguar Heritage Certificate show for this car, matching numbers.
The Engine is original and looks original with "stove pipes" carburetors and "studless" valve covers in front.
There is an original ENV rear axle with oillevelgauge. The Engine room and the luggage boot are with black color coatet like original. There is the original glass bottle for the brake fluid. Original horns.
The hoodframe and seatframes are with crome cover (original).
There is an original "high" inside mirror. Etc.
The original owner ordered the complete Jaguar C-Type Instruments in this car. After overhauling by a specialist ,this instruments come back in the car.
The realy -complete- car was restored (frame off). All parts dismanteled, restored, overhaul or setting new parts.
The chassisframe and all parts from this are zink plated and than painted with black paint. The Brakedrum outside are aluminium plated. The paint from the car body was complete dismantled with alkaline. And than come a new painting job step by step. Etc.
There is an excellent overall condition
The bonnet and lugagebootcover is overcoatet with structure foil.
But this can make return with no problems.
This XK drive and brakes very good. There is an powerfull sound by driving this car. The engine has many torque so you must not every time take the gearbox.
There is install an Kenlowe ventilator with modern sensor .
The voltage system is with 2 modern 12V accumulators inside the same cover like the orignal accumulators. ( No accid Problems and powerfull starting)
An serious expertise from german GTÜ is by the car.
