The Fiat 131 was introduced as the successor to the Fiat 124 in October 1974. It took over the drivetrain from the 124 sedan, but the chassis was fundamentally revised. The wheelbase was extended by 7 cm to create more space in the interior. Engines with two overhead camshafts were later introduced. The first facelift was carried out in March 1978, recognizable by the now rectangular headlights, larger taillights and plastic bumpers. The equipment became higher quality, especially in the Supermirafiori models. The Fiat 131 was also used as a rally car and was very successful in its class. Special models from Abarth are sought after today and are sold in price ranges of over 200,000.
This Fiat 131 Supermirafiori comes from Ticino and is accident-free and rust-free. It has always been professionally maintained and the owner uses it when he is in his holiday home.
It has demonstrably only run 42,500 km and comes with all papers, keys, logbooks and tools.
It is completely original and in mint condition. The Supermirafiori represented the highest equipment level of the 131, it was very well equipped and conveyed a luxury feeling in the middle class.
The Fiat can be driven in a sporty manner, the performance and handling are very good and also meet today's needs.
We had an inspection done and presented the vehicle to the TÜV. It now also has an H approval and should give its new owner a lot of joy. You can see a list of the works below.
