The Aston Martin V8 Volante represents one of the greatest chapters in Aston Martin’s long, illustrious history. It’s a true all-rounder, combining excellent performance from a smooth V8 powertrain, a leather and wood-lined interior akin to a Rolls or Bentley and beautiful convertible styling. Another factor which makes the V8 Volante stand out is its rarity, particularly in fuel-injected Series 2 guise with just 214 cars ever built.
We are proud to present to you what is perhaps the ultimate Series 2 Volante. Presented in its striking, original colour combination of Windsor Red over Beige hide interior, this rare Series 2 V8 Volante is one of only 34 built to LHD, 5-Speed manual specification. As if the rarity of the car didn’t make it special enough, this car has covered a mere 11,000 miles (17,400 kilometers) from new, easily making it one of the lowest mileage examples anywhere.
The car was purchased directly from the factory in Newport Pagnell by a Mr Hans R. Graf who owned the car from March 1987 to 2010 when it was purchased for a large private collection. Following our acquisition of the Volante, it has been thoroughly recommissioned and is presented in truly magnificent order.
This car represents a rare opportunity to buy what is arguably the ultimate Series 2 Aston Martin V8 Volante, being one of just 34 LHD manual examples produced, having covered a mere 11,000 miles from new and having only two owners during its lifetime. The car comes with its original handbook and service book which is stamped up to 17,340 kilometers, always having been maintained by respected marque specialists.
