For Sale: Beautiful Triumph TR3A (1959)

For sale is a wonderfully preserved and fully roadworthy Triumph TR3A, built on June 11, 1959. The car was delivered to San Francisco (USA) on July 29, 1959 in the stunning color combination of black paint with a red interior – and it still presents itself today in this original specification.

Unlike many other TR3A models, this example was not fitted with wire wheels but came with Whitewall tires, giving it a particularly elegant appearance.

In the 1990s, the car was imported to the Netherlands, where it underwent an extensive and high-quality restoration. It is now equipped with a km/h speedometer and overdrive, which makes driving it an absolute pleasure. All instruments work perfectly.

The current owner purchased the TR3A in 2022 and has since maintained and driven it regularly with great care. In the same year, the car received a new set of tires and a professional service by a specialist (invoice amount approx. €1,000).

In 2024, the car successfully participated in the Heidelberg Historic rally.
In 2025, the alternator was replaced and the leaf springs renewed. The car starts immediately and runs flawlessly.

Included with the car are a beautiful black soft top and a tonneau cover.
Importantly, the TR3A still retains its original engine, as confirmed by the Heritage Trust Certificate.

Approximately 500 km ago, an oil change was carried out, including a new oil filter and oil pan gasket. The gearbox and differential oils were also checked at that time.

An appraisal report from 2024 is available, stating a replacement value of €38,000.
