This 1968 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow I has a remarkable history: the owner of 20th Century Fox, Darryl F. Zanuck, bought it new as a gift for Elizabeth Taylor. They had a brief romance in Paris. Shortly thereafter, Lyz decided she no longer wanted to stay in Paris, and they separated. Lyz Taylor returned the Rolls Royce and went back to Burt Reynolds. In 1971, Darryl Zancuk sold it to the husband of the current owner.
This model is in remarkable original condition. Its history is well documented. The burr walnut dashboard is characteristic of the early models. Always well maintained. The hydraulic system was recently overhauled.
