The Porsche Cayenne Turbo is one of those cars that played a much bigger role in Porsche’s history than many people realised at the time. When Porsche introduced the Cayenne, it proved that a true Porsche did not necessarily have to be a 911 or a traditional sports car. It could also be a high performance SUV with serious engineering, everyday usability and real Porsche DNA. This 2008 Porsche Cayenne Turbo belongs to the first facelift generation, known internally as the 957. Under the bonnet sits the 4.8 litre V8 Biturbo engine, producing 500 hp. Combined with the Tiptronic S gearbox, all wheel drive, air suspension and Porsche Active Suspension Management, this is not just a comfortable luxury SUV. This is a proper Porsche Turbo, only with more space, more practicality and a very serious road presence.
This example is finished in one of the most attractive and rare colour combinations available for the model. The exterior is finished in beautiful Marine Blue Metallic over a beige and brown leather interior. The cabin presents in exceptional condition, from the leather dashboard to the near new condition seats, and even the Alcantara roof lining remains as new. That alone says a lot about how well this car has been cared for. The 957 Cayenne Turbo was built as a true daily driver, in an era when Porsche engineered its cars to feel genuinely bulletproof. That is exactly why many examples today show well over 200,000 km. This car has covered only 90,000 km from new, which is very low for a Cayenne Turbo of this age. Combined as new interior condition and highly complete specification, it clearly led a very different life from the average example.
Importantly, this Cayenne Turbo still retains its original paint! The paint measurements confirm a consistent and honest presentation throughout the body, which is becoming increasingly rare on these cars today. Many Cayenne Turbos were used hard, repainted, modified or simply neglected. Not this one. This example is the opposite: highly original, well preserved and properly documented. The factory specification is seriously impressive. This Cayenne Turbo was ordered with 21 inch Cayenne Sport wheels, wheel arch extensions in body colour, SportDesign package, Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control, air suspension with PASM, Porsche Entry & Drive, sport seats with memory package, electric glass sunroof, rear view camera with ParkAssist, automatic tailgate, BOSE Surround Sound System, PCM with extended navigation, privacy glass, heated front and rear seats, leather dashboard, Alcantara headlining, aluminium interior package and an electrically deployable tow bar. In other words: it is fully loaded.
With an estimated new price of around €133,000 in 2008, this was not just another SUV. This was a proper high end Porsche Turbo for the lucky few, ordered with the right options and finished to a level that still makes it feel special today. According to the original stamped service book and Porsche documentation, the car was originally specified for the Swedish market, with Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG in Germany recorded in the original service book as the first owner. The documentation is exactly what you want to see: original Porsche booklets, stamped service book, manuals, PCM navigation documentation and Porsche Assistance booklet. In addition, the car comes with German registration documents and a recent German technical inspection, completed on 10 March 2026 without any remarks. For us, this Cayenne Turbo ticks all the right boxes: rare colour combination, strong factory specification, original paint, Porsche AG first ownership in the service book, complete documentation, low mileage for the model and a clean recent inspection.
This is exactly the kind of Cayenne Turbo that deserves attention. Fast, comfortable, beautifully equipped and still exceptionally original. A very usable modern classic that has aged far better than most people expected, and a car that proves just how good Porsche’s first generation performance SUV really was.
