Von Motor, über Getriebe, der Innenausstattung und der klassischen Karosserieform, gleicht das Fahrzeug mindestens der damaligen Werksauslieferung. 

Die Porsche-Geburtsurkunde bestätigt dem am 12. Mai 1960 gebauten Fahrzeuges, die Originalität hinsichtlich Motor und Getriebe (Matching Numbers), sowie der wunderschönen Farbkombination mit der Außenlackierung "Elfenbeinweiß" und dem Interior in "Red Leatherette". 

Die Fahrgestellnummer (88410) belegt, dass vom 356 B 1600 Roadster insgesamt nur 2653 Fahrzeuge beim damaligen Karosseriebauer Drauz in Heilbronn gefertigt wurden. Optisch unterscheidet sich das B-Modell zum A-Vorgängermodell durch höher positionierte Stoßfänger und Scheinwerfer, dem unter der Heckstossstange montierten Rückfahrscheinwerfer und den gewölbten Chrom-Radkappen mit Porsche-Wappen. 

Der Roadster ist die Komfort-Variante des Speedsters und bringt nur etwa 870 Kilo auf die Waage. Der Luftgekühlte, 60 PS-starke Vierzylinder-Boxermotor sorgte für gute Fahrleistungen und für die damalige Zeit, sensationelle 175 km/h Höchstgeschwindigkeit.

We offer the unique opportunity to purchase one of the most beautiful, best and highest quality Porsche 356 B 1600 Roadsters. The vehicle was completely rebuilt from the ground up, with great attention to detail, the highest quality materials, an enormous amount of craftsmanship and no reservations about the costs. From the engine, transmission, interior and classic body shape, the vehicle is at least the same as when it was delivered from the factory at the time.

The Porsche birth certificate confirms the originality of the vehicle, built on May 12, 1960, in terms of engine and transmission (matching numbers), as well as the beautiful color combination with the exterior paint "Ivory White" and the interior in "Red Leatherette".

The chassis number (88410) shows that only 2,653 vehicles of the 356 B 1600 Roadster were manufactured by the coachbuilder Drauz in Heilbronn at the time. Visually, the B model differs from the A predecessor model in its higher positioned bumpers and headlights, the reversing light mounted under the rear bumper and the curved chrome hubcaps with the Porsche coat of arms.

The Roadster is the comfort version of the Speedster and only weighs around 870 kilos. The air-cooled, 60 hp four-cylinder boxer engine ensured good performance and, for the time, a sensational 175 km/h top speed.
