The Morgan Plus 4 is a distinctive British sports car that combines traditional craftsmanship with more modern mechanical reliability. Built at Morgan's historic factory in Malvern, Worcestershire, the car retains the company's classic ash wood frame, hand-formed aluminium body panels, and long bonnet styling that has changed very little since the mid twentieth century. Unlike many contemporary sports cars, the Plus 4 offers a driving experience that feels mechanical, engaging, and refreshingly uncomplicated. Power comes from a 2.0 litre Ford Duratec four-cylinder engine producing around 145 horsepower. Although that figure is modest by modern standards, the car weighs well under 1,000 kilograms, giving it lively acceleration and excellent responsiveness. A five-speed manual gearbox and rear wheel drive layout encourage enthusiastic driving on country roads, where the Plus 4 feels agile and connected. Inside, the cabin is simple and elegant, featuring leather seats, wooden trim, and traditional analogue instruments. Comfort is secondary to character, and owners often value the car for its sense of occasion rather than outright practicality.

Originally registered on 2nd June 2006 this Morgan presents exceptionally well in Connaught Green with Mushroom leather interior. The vendor purchased the car from Brands Hatch Morgan in 2013 with the vehicle having covered a mere 3,100 miles at that stage. We are advised this Plus 4 runs very well and drives with no known faults. The 1999cc Duratec engine which is mated to a five-speed gearbox, offers brisk performance. With the exception of a new battery and a leaking radiator hose, the vendor has enjoyed trouble-free motoring with this Morgan. Supplied with a V5 registration document, together with a current MoT test certificate valid until 10th June 2027 and a comprehensive service history. Four new tyres were fitted in May 2026.
