The Mercedes-Benz 280 SEL, part of the W108 range, perfectly reflects the marque's late-1960s reputation for engineering quality, comfort and understated style. Powered by a smooth 2.8 litre straight-six, these cars offered refined performance and superb ride quality, making them a favourite among executives and dignitaries of the period.
