HISTORY
· completed assembly at Maserati workshop in 1967

EXTERIOR
· finished in period-correct Grigio Newmarket Metallizzato (106 E3). The paint is vivid and in fairly good condition, minor signs of use with minimal stress cracks and two chips on the bonnet.
· arrow-straight and rock solid body, professionally restored to highest standards. No dents, damage or rust. With Mike Sanders anti-corrosion treatment.
· perfect panel fittings and gap dimension
· the undercarriage is rust-free, clean and tidy with no evidence of structural damage, displaying honest finishes reflective of general use, consistant to original construction.
· chrome plating as new on bumpers and all other trim
· original factory tinted glass in perfect condition with no chips or delamination. Perfect window frame fitting and all rubber seals like new.
· factory-deliverd Borrani centre-lock wire wheels in very good condition on Michelin XWX tyres with 7mm profile. Like-new spare wheel on board.
INTERIOR
· exquisite cabin appearance, restored to perfection in period-correct tan / cognac leather Pelle Senape PAC.1775
· upholstery on seats and all interior panels in top-condition, providing a beautiful contrast to the paintwork
· interior retains a cohesive appearance and is in a wonderful condition, following a high-quality restoration / re-trim by Weinhold Hamburg (Germany).
· the soft-touch padded dashboard is superbly made using black suede as it was used originally
· all carpets are in perfect condition without any damages
· headrests, original wooden steering wheel
· all fixtures, fittings, dials and instruments are original and in sublime condition, including early features like toggle switches and cast iron vents
· Tripmaster for rallying installed (can be removed without damage if desired)
MECHANICS
· overall in perfect working order, many parts being replaced where needed
· fuel system completely overhauled, including the four original Weber DCNL carbs
· cooling system overhauled with new high-performance vents
· ignition system overhauled with new electrical ignition to improve reliability
ENGINE
· original 4.7L DOHC quad-cam dry-sump V8 with 310hp, fed by four Weber carbs
· dual spark-plug holes
· engine compartment in very good condition with proper hosing and fasteners, largely original finishes, original shrink varnish well perserved
MAINTENANCE
· fully restored and technically overhauled
· regularly maintained by German Maserati specialist since more than a decade
· comprehensive high-quality bodywork restoration in Italy around 2005 (confirmed by surveyor)
· repainted in 2009
· original engine including carbs completely and dilligently overhauled and rebuilt to original factory finishes by highly acclaimed Maserati specialist Alfred Sieben (Germany) in 2016 - invoices in excess of €35,000 on file
· invested >€50,000 during past years – all supported by invoices

DRIVING EXPERIENCE
The car offers healthy and potent V8 power, revealing its true touring nature with staggering performance and long distance comfort. The car starts easily, drives superbly and handles perfectly, releasing an increadible sound through its original / factory-delivered 4-pipe ANSA sport exhaust.
The 5-speed ZF transmission (S5/325) operates smoothly and precise. 4-wheel disc braking is efficient and was overhauled during maintenance. As per September 2025, the odometer indicates 28,800 kilometres. The car is very reliable, carefully optimized for drivability, rallye-proven and took part in prestiguous events.
GENERAL APPEAL & CONCLUSION
A 60ies icon in beautiful working and driving condition today, one of the finest cars around - in many aspects better than new.
An impeccable matching-number example, mechanically sound, well-maintained and preserved since the restoration for enthusiast drivers, ideal for events and hassle-free tours.
Spare parts (e.g. additional set of rear lights, centre lock wheel removal tool, original ignition, tailored Maserati car cover) available on request.
