The seventh series of the Lambda is known for being the most performing of this model due to the lightness of its structure and the performance of the engine.
This wonderful example, exported new to Great Britain, was purchased in 1974 by a Swiss enthusiast from Lausanne who in 2005, after many years of fruitless attempts to restore the car, overcome by discouragement and due to age restrictions, reluctantly gave up this rare model. to a great collector of Italian pre-war cars.
In the hands of the new owner, after a careful total restoration that lasted from 2005 to 2010, the car returned to its original splendor.
The restoration was taken care of down to the smallest detail of both mechanics and bodywork.
The engine, which was completely rebuilt by a well-known Lambda engine specialist, is still running in and has only covered 2400 kilometres.
The owner who personally used the car on his first trips declares that the engine, with increased displacement compared to the original, makes the car capable of easily exceeding 130 km/h and offers great flexibility and driving pleasure even on mountain routes where it has had the chance to experience it.
The car is equipped with new "straight" spoked rims with ring, an option of the time which allows you to remove the tire without removing the wheel from the hub.
The internal leather has been recreated by specialized tanneries faithfully reproducing the original one.
The color of the car is the original one as can also be seen from the period photos of the car, and in the hidden parts of the body.
In 2016 it was accompanied by a Certificate of historical relevance from the Fiat Registry.
In December of the same year it was registered for the first time in Italy.
After the first 4 years it underwent the mandatory periodic inspection in 2021 at 2056 km, in 2024 at 2358 km.
The next review is due to be carried out in July 2026.
The car is in perfect working order and is ready for immediate use.
