In 1976 presenteerde Lancia de vooruitstrevende, voorwielaangedreven Gamma. Kort daarna werd de coupé gepresenteerd: het topmodel ontworpen door Aldo Brovarone, hoofddesigner bij Pininfarina. In 1976, Lancia presented the progressive, front-wheel-drive Gamma. Shortly afterwards, the coupé was presented: the flagship model designed by Aldo Brovarone, chief designer at Pininfarina. An eccentrically designed car with special details: sharp lines, an extra-thick c-pillar reminiscent of a targa bar and a "folded" boot lid. Unique design features also come to the fore in the interior: the L of Lancia is subtly reflected in the upholstery, a button on the dashboard allows to check the oil level and the inward bending door handles are a work of art in themselves.
