This 1970 Lancia Fulvia Rallye 1600 HF, commonly known as the “Fanalone,” represents the most developed and competition-oriented version of the Fulvia range. The model is distinguished by its larger headlamp design and its homologation for international rally competition.
This example was originally delivered in Italy and spent much of its early life in Sicily. It is finished in red with a black interior and retains period-correct details including wood-grain trim, Veglia instrumentation, a dog-leg five-speed gearbox, and original 13-inch alloy wheels fitted with Pirelli Cinturato tyres. Spare wheel, tools, and jack are included.
The car is a numbers-matching example and is accompanied by extensive documentation, including ASI registration and records dating back to its original registration in Trapani in 1970. A comprehensive mechanical overhaul was carried out in recent years, with detailed invoices on file.
Its documented competition history includes participation in the 64th and 65th Targa Florio, the Trofeo Florio 2000, and the 1st Ronde Terre Sicane. After more than four decades in Italy, the car was imported to the United States in 2015 before returning to Europe. It has since undergone a complete mechanical review and presents in correct running condition.
