Description:
The Willys Overland Jeep is one of the most significant and iconic military vehicles of the Second World War. Robust, versatile and exceptionally capable, the Jeep played a pivotal role in the mobility of the Allied forces and became a lasting symbol of reliability and mobility under the most demanding conditions.
Production of the Willys MB began in 1941. Together with the largely identical Ford GPW, several hundred thousand vehicles were produced during the Second World War, primarily for the U.S. military. Today, authentic examples from this early production period are among the most sought-after military vehicle classics.
According to German registration records, the Willys Overland Jeep offered here was first registered on 25 October 1944. The vehicle was brought to Germany by its current owner in 2023. Prior to this, it was based in Austria, where it underwent an extensive restoration.
