A beautiful piece of Americana & benefitting from the largest engine size available that year the 352 Cubic Inch V8 giving it plenty of effotless performance. These cars were known for the striking, long jet-age body lines, expansive chrome side sweeping, and signature late-50s rear tail fins.
This car is in really fine condition finished in coral pink over white. The hard top roof, a masterpeice of engineering retracts & raises seamlessly at the touch of a switch. To the interior is corrct triple tone seating. The car displays 62,000 miles on the odometer. Bench seats front & rear mean there is room for six people to ride in style & comfort. The car really has the wow factor & draws attention wherever it appears.
The gear box is super smooth. The engine is silnet & powerful sitting in a spotless engine bay. Although the car comes to us with only a V5c Document it has clearly been very well cared for in the fine condition we find it in today. It starts instantly every time & runs beautifully. First UK registation appears to have been in 2021 according to the log book. The car was previously owned in the sunny climes of southern California which accounts for its excellent state of preservation. Clearly it has had a high quality respay at some time as the paint is in simply gorgeous condition. A retangular recess under the flip up boot cover provides space for several suitcases (Should the massive rear seat area not be capacious enough.)
We traded it for a Series 62 Cadillac & & I have to say I find the Ford to be a far more pleasant driving experience. It has serious but effortless performance from the big V8 & as the Yanks say: "There aint no substitute for cubes!"
