1992 | Bentley Turbo R "Val D'Isere"

This Bentley Val D'Isere is a remarkably rare all-wheel drive 'shooting brake' and believed to be one of 11 examples commissioned by the Brunei Royal Family. Powered by a 6.75 litre V8, driving all four wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission, the Val D'Isere was created as a luxurious all-wheel-drive estate car. Based on the Turbo R, and named after the famous ski resort in the French Alps, this remarkably low-mileage example is finished in an unapologetically bold colour scheme.

This Val d'Isere was originally registered in the UK and was subsequently relocated to the Royal Brunei garages before returning to British soil. It is thought to be the final example built for the Brunei Royal Family, the only example built in 1992, and the only ex-Brunei Royal Family Val D'Isere in private ownership. The car is also thought to have been used by Prince Jefri Bolkiah, and photos of him are visible on the sun visor mirror covers.

This example is finished in blue over a twin-tone blue and yellow leather-trimmed cabin featuring extensive burr walnut inlays, a quilted headliner, and blue carpets. It rides on a set of polished 17-inch alloy wheels, fitted with Michelin tyres. Equipment includes air conditioning, heated and electrically adjustable front seats with four-position memory, cruise control, town and country horns, and a Sony stereo. The seller states that, as per advice from Ranmore Service &Engineering, the four-wheel-drive system was disengaged to allow for greater comfort and a tighter turning circle.

Accompanied by various paperwork, the most recent MoT test certificate was conducted on 25th August 2025 at 13,654 miles, resulting in a clean first-time pass. The car was last serviced at 11,500 miles, which included servicing the calipers and renewing the oils, seals, hoses, pipes, and brake pads. Our vendor states that the car has been recently recommissioned for use in road tests and magazine articles with the Bentley and Rolls-Royce owners club and with well-respected online YouTube and social media automotive journalists.
