The AEC Mammoth Major was one of Britain's most powerful and respected heavy haulage trucks, built by the Associated Equipment Company (AEC). Designed primarily for demanding commercial work, it featured a robust chassis capable of carrying exceptionally heavy loads over long distances. Most versions were powered by AEC's reliable six-cylinder diesel engine, delivering the strength and durability needed for construction, industrial, and general freight transport. The Mammoth Major was available in multiple axle configurations, including the distinctive eight-wheel layout, which offered excellent load distribution and stability.
