An old lady with no flaws, but with a patina befitting its age. Fun to ride, runs like clockwork. Starts well after a BMW pro synchronized the carburetors.

I replaced the steel braided brake hoses with the original ones. This improved braking performance. The master cylinder was replaced about 5 years ago.

Replaced the front fork stanchion seals.

Tires have about 3,000 km on them. All oils, including the hydraulic fork oil, have been changed.

Before I bought the bike, it was stored in a hall for a few years and survived that time well. This explains the relatively low mileage. Since I've owned it, I've pampered it more than ridden it. It was always kept warm and dry in the winter.

Monolever swingarms were installed in 1983. This bike is one of the last still with a box swingarm.

The only electronic component is the ignition. This saves you having to adjust and replace the breaker, which is a real advantage.

The weak point is the kickstand. The bike requires a strong and skilled grip.

The MOT was passed in May with no defects.
