This stunning low mileage UK Home Market RHD Mercedes Benz 280SL Pagoda was supplied new on the 1st August 1968. The Mercedes Benz was supplied new to a Glasgow based Doctor and the cars original service book confirms Callander’s Engineering Co Ltd maintained the car during its early life with services at 645. 3032, 6371, 8987 and 14989 miles in June 1973. Further services are recorded in the service book at 25760 and 37464 miles. The Pagoda remained in Glasgow throughout the 1970’s, 1980’s and 1990’s and MOT records record the mileage up to 53,289 miles when it arrived in Yorkshire during 1997. In 1997 the car was purchased by its last owner who has cherished this car during 28 years of enjoyable ownership and has covered 25,000 miles touring.
