Hexagon Classics are delighted to offer this stunning low mileage Porsche 911 (930) Turbo, which remained with the last owner for 29 years. In its classic all black colour scheme this Turbo just epitomises the 1980’s supercar. It was a poster car for a generation of enthusiasts.

Successful competition cars like the Porsche 917, The Porsche Carrera RSR Turbo, the 935, 936, the 956 and 962 and last, but not least the Formula 1 TAG Turbo engine used by the McLaren team, all illustrate the vast experience amassed by Porsche designers in the sphere of turbocharging. Moreover, what made Porsche’s racing cars so fast on the circuit, makes the 911 Turbo so enjoyable to drive - superior performance, outstanding acceleration, and the marque’s characteristically excellent roadholding, braking and cornering ability. As would be expected from of a car with such large power reserves, the 911 Turbo is fitted with an ultra-high performance braking system. The hydraulic dual circuit, servo assisted system incorporates deeply finned, light alloy, four piston calipers, with cross-drilled internally ventilated discs. On a dry surface the 911 Turbo can brake from 62.5 mph to rest in just 3.3 seconds.

The top-of-the-range 911 Turbo is so enjoyable to drive with its superior performance, outstanding acceleration and the marque’s characteristically excellent roadholding, braking and cornering ability. With a 3.3 litre capacity, its air-cooled, 6-cylinder engine with exhaust gas turbocharger it produces an output of 300 bhp at 5,500 rpm and weighs of just 1300 kg.  Maximum torque is 430 Nm at 4,000 rpm and 0-62 mph acceleration is achieved in just 5.4 secs. Top speed is over 160 mph.

Our Porsche Turbo was supplied new by A.F.N Ltd Porsche in September 1989. The 911 Turbo retains its original book pack, spare keys, an MOT history stretching back to 1992, and of course numerous service invoices from Official Porsche Centres and Porsche specialists. The 911 Turbo is now offered for sale after completing a recommissioning and comprehensive pre-sales check by Porsche-trained master technicians.  The check has included a major service with spark plugs, new N-rated tyre set, air conditioning system overhaul, oil seals, belts, bonnet struts, and brake fluid service amongst numerous other tasks, to ensure the 911 Turbo fully prepared for its next owner to enjoy.   A 12-month comprehensive warranty is also included.
