Single-owner example (I am the second owner) equipped with a 3-speed ZF automatic transmission, produced in only 2,163 units (source: Peugeot), and featuring a rare optional extra:
“Frigette” air conditioning, installed as an aftermarket option by a Peugeot dealership at the time, perfectly functional and already recharged with legally compliant R134a refrigerant (a significant added value given today’s summer climate).
The car is in regular driving condition. The fuel tank has been completely refurbished with Tankerite treatment and has successfully passed a pressure test. The odometer shows approximately 85,500 km, believed to be original, as the car remained off the road from 1982 (see the photograph of the last service carried out in 1980 prior to restoration). From what is known, the car originally had a single owner.
It is fitted with 14" Dunlop alloy wheels, official Peugeot factory options of the period. The original steel wheels with hubcaps are also included, along with a set of spare parts that will be given with the car. New Firestone tires (approx. 70 km).
An extremely long and meticulous preservation restoration with obsessive attention to originality: all expenses are documented; virtually every wear-related component has been replaced (engine/automatic transmission radiator, steering box, ball joints, belts, shock absorbers, complete exhaust system, hoses, brake caliper kits and pads, oil seals, etc., etc., etc.).
Probably one of the finest Peugeot 504 Coupé 2.0 Automatics (rare) with air conditioning (extremely rare option) currently in Italy. Italian-registered car with road inspection valid until July 2027, owned by the Secretary of the Peugeot Citroën Historic Club Italy and accompanied by an ASI Certificate of Historical Significance.
