Dieser ultra-seltene Ford A mit Delivery-Aufbau hatte uns schon beim Erstkontakt gefesselt. Dieser Van hat sehr im Gegensatz zu vielen anderen Sonderversionen eine wunderschöne, wohlproportionierte Form. Das Gesamtbild wird durch eine wirklich gut ausgeführte dunkelgrüne Lackierung am Aufbau und der schwarzen Lackierung an Kotflügeln und Trittbrettern perfektioniert.

Der Vorbesitzer hat das Fahrzeug nach dem Motto “Koste-es-was-es-wolle, Geld spielt keine Rolle” Frame-off penibel restauriert und obendrein optimiert. Der Laderaum ist mit feinem, hochglanz-lasiertem Holz und teurem Stoff ausstaffiert, der Fahrgastraum mit neuem Teppich und neuen Sitzen optimiert. Die gesamte Technik ist offenbar mit restauriert worden.

Zudem ist der Wagen auf hydraulische Bremsen und elektronische Zündung umgerüstet worden. So hat man hier nicht nur einen Vorkriegsoldtimer, der nur zum Anschauen taugt, sondern einen, der auch ganz hervorragend fährt und bremst. Sein 3,3 Liter 40 PS 4-Zylindermotor (mit Ölfilter!!) springt immer freudig an und ist keineswegs lahm. Überhaupt ist man überrascht, wie toll ein über 90 Jahre altes Auto fahren kann. Noch überraschender ist es, dass es praktisch alle Ersatzteile neu und für moderates Geld  gibt. Dieser Van eignet sich hervorragend als gut fahrbares Werbefahrzeug mit hohem Nutzwert. Das Fahrzeug wird im Kundenauftrag verkauft.

This ultra rare Ford A Delivery Van attracted us from the very first glance as its well proportioned lines and sleek bodywork appears to be so much more elegant compared to other van versions of this decade. The bodywork comes along in a two tone paintwork in classic BRG that matches perfectly to its gleaming black running boards and wings. Chromework and enginebay are in as new condition.

The previous owner has obviously restored the vehicle frame-off to the highest standards possible, regardless of costs. The interior of the drivers cab is equiped with new carpets, black seats and the cargo space shows a polished wood floor, which looks unused. The whole drive train plus axles have been carefully restored and optimized.

The originally unsafe cable brakes have been carefully converted to hydraulic brakes in order to ensure a safer ride in modern traffic, an electronic ignition and an oilfilter conversion have been installed to make it reliable in use.

The alterations applied to this car allow a joyful, safe ride in this charming prewar car. The strong torque of its 3.3 litre 4-Pott-Engine and only 40 bhp give enough power to make this vehicle astonishingly quick for an old car of this age. Surprisingly, all spares are available and moderately priced, so that this vehicle could be used daily or for promotional reasons. The vehicle is on sale by client´s order.
