1984 | FIAT Ritmo 105 TC

The Fiat Ritmo 105TC was Italy's contribution to the new GTI class when it was launched. It has the famous 1.6 liter Fiat Twin Cam engine with Weber carburetor and Digiplex electronic ignition. I bought the car about 10 years ago and after a mechanical overhaul and renovation of some parts it has been in traffic with a MHRF classic car insurance since 2016. It had previously been in storage for about 15 years. In the late 90s the car was repainted in the original color. The previous owner has done a very extensive rust protection treatment.

People are amazed to see a Ritmo, especially the very rare 105TC, in such nice condition and still on the road. I have driven the car regularly to keep it in good running condition. The car drives like a dream. Everything works. The seats are flawless. The paintwork generally looks good. The car is by all practical measures free of rust.

This is an early 80s car and imperfections can be found. Some obsolete technology and additions that the Swedish general agent installed and modifications by previous owners have been removed but can be included in a sale. Everything to get a car that looks good, works, is easy to maintain and is maximally drivable today and at the same time faithful to what the designers intended. The buyer will get a detailed review and photo documentation.

• Custom-made stainless steel exhaust system by Ferrita.
• New fuel tank, original NOS.

• The fog lights are not the right kind but these can be found at reasonable cost.
• The grill is from the Series 3 (86-87). The difference, smooth around the headlights.
• The headliner is black but not the original black vinyl.

In short - A charming and good looking car in tip-top mechanical condition with some minor cosmetic signs of aging.
