Beschreibung

1937 MG SA Saloon
Registration Number: FV9216
Chassis Number: SA1577
A very rare survivor of the model. This MG SA was under long term ownership of an elderly scottish gentleman for several decades before being purchased by the current owner upon his passing. The car is nice useable lightly patinated condition.
The inteior has been re-upholsterded in Maroon to match the exterior paint scheme. No bills come with the car but we do have pictures of the the engine disassembled for a rebuild & of course the interior has new upholstery. The car starts readily & runs well from the big 6 cylinder engine which is both powerful & quiet. Interior woodwork & door cards are all original as when it left Abingdon.
This is a lovely imposing & large car by MG standards & aside from the new upholstery has a lovely original feel to it. The current onwer uses it for high days & holidays but now needs garage space for his recently aquired Daimler V8 saloon.
Viewings of the car are by appointment mid way between Glasgow & Edinburgh. But we are happy to pick up the car & deliver it in a covered trailer anywhere at cost.
