There are some cars that just seem to tick every box and this Ferrari 575M certainly does that
From the perspective of those who live or frequently drive in London she is unbelievably ULEZ (emission tax) exempt because of how eco friendly her smashing great big V12 engine is... go figure
All the other more traditional boxes are ticked too with beautiful lines & styling, 200mph performance, superb comfort and lots of space for luggage in either the boot or rear shelf
In fact we picked this car up from a rather fine collection somewhere in East Anglia and drove her the 100 miles or so home arriving a few hours later having sat in London traffic on the way into town feeling fresh as a daisy thanks to her supportive seats air conditioning and general good behaviour
Long journeys are certainly her forte, we have in the past used a very similarly specified 575 for a Continental tour and can only recount how wonderful they are, at both, the motorway blasts & mountain pass exploits
Bodywork, wheels, tyres, interior and engine bay are all in mint condition for her age and mileage and overall we find her more than appealing
This particular example has a very modest 4 previous owners and has always been looked after in the way that one would hope for, a total of 13 stamps adorn her original service book, all but two from Ferrari main agents, and those 2 from independent Ferrari specialists in any case
Crucially she went to Ferrari in Colchester in March of 2021 for her annual service and was treated to an all important timing belt change as well as the alternator belt and subsequently a new alternator as well in more recent times
She is therefore completely on the button and ready for someone to take advantage of the recent work already done, hopefully on a stunning mountain road somewhere exotic now the world is a more open place once again
