THE HISTORIC HOME OF ASTON MARTIN

Aston Martin Works is the historic home of Aston Martin with a heritage stretching back almost 60 years, whilst Newport Pagnell has an even longer association with bespoke and luxury vehicle making, being the home to Salmons Coachworks since 1830: a coach and, later, carriage maker.

These skills were the primary reason for the move from its former factory in Feltham Middlesex, while the opening of the first UK motorway – the M1 – in the early 1960s provided both rapid transport links plus, in the days before speed limits, a handy test track!

ICONIC MODELS

During the 52 years that Aston Martin sports cars were made at Newport Pagnell, a total of just over 13,300 cars left the factory destined for customers all over the world. Among the many iconic models designed and built here are: DB4, DB5 & DB6, V8 Vantage, the William Towns Lagonda and the original Vanquish.

CRAFTSMANSHIP & TRADITION

The factory at Newport Pagnell has always been a hotbed of hand craftsmanship and traditional skills. Rare and sought-after, these have been nurtured here and, through the foresight of the business, remain healthy to this day.
