Triumph Vitesse 2-Litre Mk II convertible, year 1968.

Black vinyl hood and a blue hood cover. This rather rare and delightful Triumph vitesse convertible is in excellent condition! The automobile shows all original details.

What makes the Vitesse very desirable is the presence of a smooth six-cylinder engine and the possibility to enjoy this open top car with four people! In the period 1968 – 1971 only 3470 cars of this type have been built, of which a minority is LHD (left hand driven) like this fine specimen. The car features overdrive, two door-mounted rear view mirrors, electric cooling fan, tow-bar, Stainless Steel exhaust, steering wheel with wood rim, and a km/h odometer/ speedometer.

Recently the clutch and the overdrive have been overhauled, and the two Stromberg carburettors have been overhauled and adjusted. The tyres and the battery have been renewed quite recently.

This is a special Triumph: AS compact family convertible powered by a magnificent six-cylinder in-line engine!
