Description

Triumph TR6, year 1969.

Bodywork finished in dark red (Damson) combined with a black faux leather interior and a black mohair soft-top.

This fantastic Triumph TR6 was sold new in the USA and imported to the Netherlands in 1999.

The car has known only one caring owner ever since.

This Triumph TR6 is a seldom seen early version still sporting unique details like the safety seats with the high headrests and the unique 3-spoke steering wheel with holes in the spokes.

The headrests are foldable to make it possible to fit a tonneau cover.

The car was fully repainted and given new upholstery and carpet in the past.

SU carburettors were fitted, electronic ignition, and sports air-filters.

The suspension was fitted with ‘road-spec’ polyurethane bushes.

This magnificent early TR6 shows all the original details, it drives and sounds delightfully and is in a very good condition!

Cars coming from long year caring active ownership are the best driver cars you can buy in our opinion. This wonderful example features the coveted overdrive option and silver metallic painted wire wheels with chrome ‘knock on’ wheel nuts and a chrome baggage rack.

A British Motor Heritage certificate is also present.

The Triumph TR6 is the British sports car that gives the most driving fun for its money, and it is practical and comfortable enough to be enjoyed for weekend road trips and ‘pan European’ holiday trips!
