Description
1994 Ferrari 512 TR – The Last True Testarossa
There are cars that impress. Then there are cars that electrify. And then there is the Ferrari 512 TR – a rolling manifesto of Italian engineering, exuding more testosterone than a boxing match in Maranello.
The 512 TR isn’t just a car. It’s the grand finale of the Testarossa saga. The last performance of a flat-12 engine in the rear, wrapped in a silhouette that still looks today as if a wind-tunnel-obsessed Michelangelo had drawn it.
And this very example? One of the extremely rare ABS versions. Only around 150 worldwide. If you’re lucky enough to own one, you’re not a collector – you’re a curator.
Back to the ’80s: The Testarossa was the car for mustachioed investment bankers with sunglasses and phone numbers scribbled on the back of a Rolex. A symbol of excess, extravagance and lust for speed.
Then came 1991 and the 512 TR. Not a facelift. Not an update. A declaration of war.
Engineering – Red Mechanical Twilight of the Gods Beneath the endless rear deck: a 4.9-liter flat-12 that sounds like Zeus founding a rock band.
428 hp at 6,750 rpm
491 Nm of torque
0–100 km/h in 4.9 seconds
Top speed over 300 km/h
No turbos, no software, no gimmicks. Just fuel, air, and Italian temperament.
Ferrari gave it new cylinder heads, bigger valves, revised airboxes, and a sharper exhaust. It’s like giving the Testarossa a double espresso and a kick in the tailpipes.
Design – More Line, Less Glitter The 512 TR refined the raw brutality of the original into elegance: ✔️ Flatter hood with extra vent ✔️ Trapezoidal nose in the style of the 348 ✔️ Integrated tailpipes instead of mesh-circus
Inside: leather to the horizon. A cockpit like a tailored suit – with genuine Ferrari scent. No infotainment toys. Just a steering wheel, three pedals, and the promise that every mistake is yours.
The Car – Honest. Maintained. Ready.

A car not merely preserved, but revered. Every service done, every kilometer driven with care. No backlog, no money pit – just a road-ready legend.
Conclusion – The Last of Its Kind The Ferrari 512 TR is the closing chord of a masterpiece. No shelf-ready ABS modules. No assistants to save you from yourself. Just pure mechanics, brutal performance, and a form that never apologizes.
If you want an investment that delivers not only returns but goosebumps – here it is. But beware: anyone who just parks it in a garage doesn’t deserve it.
