Vehicle history
This DSpécial was purchased new in 1974 by Mr. L. Jaudouin, a stonemason from Angers, France. He owned a smaller car as well and used the DS only for longer journeys (around 5,000 km per year). The car was meticulously maintained and always stored in a closed garage when not in use.
In 1998, the car was sold (including its full documentation file) and entered the stock of a DS specialist dealer. In 1999, it was purchased by my family as a second vehicle, mainly used for holidays. When not in use, it has always been kept in an enclosed garage.
Over the years, the car has consistently received timely maintenance and has been regularly used for travel. In 2010, the bodywork was thoroughly restored and the car was repainted. In 2021, the engine was fully overhauled by DS Garage Jansen in Bennekom, including a new starter motor, alternator, steering rack, radiator, LHM system, clutch assembly, bearings, water pump, rubbers, and more. The complete history of the car has been carefully documented and preserved.
This car is not only stunning to look at, but also in outstanding technical condition.
