Exterior: Driving down the road in a Citroën DS23 Pallas today puts a smile on people's faces, whether they are young or old. The DS23 was the top-of-the-line model, and by 1975 it had already been replaced by the CX in most countries. Looking at this silver DS23 from the outside, you will notice some flaws in the paintwork upon close inspection. However, the car feels very solid overall, and all the stainless-steel parts such as the bumpers, hubcaps, etc. are in excellent condition.
This DS23 is also equipped with the large Webasto sunroof, which can be pulled back on sunny days, giving it a convertible-like feel. The car rolls smoothly on a set of Michelin tyres, correctly sized for the model. All the glass and rubber seals around the car are in good condition.

Interior: Just sitting in the Citroën DS23 Pallas makes you feel relaxed. This was as luxurious as it got in France in 1975. The car features a full brown leather interior, which is still original and remains in wonderful condition. Even the floor feels soft, with a thick layer of sound-damping material under the carpets. While this material is known for causing early rust in Citroën cars, this particular car has been restored, and the floor underneath the carpets is in excellent condition. The dashboard is free from any cracks, and all instruments are functioning properly. The headliner could benefit from a good cleaning or possibly replacement.

Engine and Mechanics:
The Citroën DS23 Pallas is in very good mechanical condition. The car was parked in 2012, and after this long rest, it has now been mechanically refreshed. Since February 2024, when it passed a new technical inspection here in Sweden, it has been driven on sunny days.

The following work has been carried out during 2024/2025:

• All ignition parts replaced, and a 123-ignition system installed

• Full service with all fluids replaced

• Fuel injection system overhauled, with some sensors replaced. New fuel lines, fuel pump, and filters installed

• Main control unit replaced (used part)

• Hydraulic system revised during the earlier restoration, with some additional minor work recently completed

• New radiator, thermostat, and cooling hoses installed

History: One of the great things about this Citroën DS23 Pallas is that it is exceptionally well documented. It appears that every document from the Swedish technical inspections is included in the binder, supporting the recorded mileage. The car underwent a major restoration (including an engine rebuild) between 1988 and 2000. Since the restoration, the car has traveled approximately 20,000 km. All original items, such as the spare wheel and jack, are present. Additionally, some new extra parts that have been purchased for the car are included.
